Planar Chair is a tiny, simple, solid redwood armchair. The form is simply created by joining four plain surfaces without any screws or hardware. The redwood is salvaged from a dismanteled water tower in New York City.
Deger Cengiz trained as an architect. He has worked professionally in architecture, interior and the industrial design fields. His work has been publlished internationally, exhibited at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, South Street Seaport Museum and the Red Dot Design Museum.
